Mighty Men of Valour

Mighty Men of Valour Video - Hands & Feet Launch

Yesterday we read from Numbers 20 .
Numbers 20
Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.
2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.

We saw what on their way to their promise land, the Children of Israel once again, complained with Moses about their circumstances. We spoke about how we are often faced with similar attacks when we try to do Abba’s work.
I often think what was the saddest to me is the fact that they , saw miracle after Miracle and literally saw Gods presence every day in the Pillar of clouds and Fire , the Mana and the Quails and yet …when the going just a little tuff they complained .
Numbers:
3 And the people spoke with Moses, and spoke, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the Lord!
4 And why have ye brought up the congregation of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?
5 And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? It is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.
Isn’t it sad that we tend to do exactly the same in our lives when things get tough? We believe all the promises we get from Father, but the moment we are faced with challenges in our finances, health, work or family life, our Faith starts to waiver.
We even sometimes find ourselves in a position that we contemplate to go back to Egypt …The enemy will remind us of the figs, vines, and pomegranates. The detail we seem to forget is the fact that we never had freedom in Egypt, yes the material or carnal might have been nice, but we were slaves! Completely in bondage in the hands of the merciless enemy …not hesitating to beat us senseless at the drop of a hat.
The freedom as a child of God cannot even be compared in any way with the bondages in Egypt.
Around us we see what is going on in the world and our country...I want to urge you tonight...don’t long for a place you think will be or was better. Remember not the bondage of Egypt but remember the miracles you have encountered in your life up to this day. The provision, the mercy and the grace Father has showered over you regardless of what you have done in any stage of your life …He sent His Son to pay the Ultimate price on a Cross at Calvary...

Let’s pray:
Thank you Father that you hold us in the palm of your hand. Thank you that we are on our way to the promise land...help us to walk in Faith and not according to what we see...Thank you for bringing us out of Egypt to the promise land , and Abba most of all thank you for the Cross .. Amen
